Sir Wilfred Grenfell College Art Gallery
Providing a Stimulating Educational Forum in the Visual Arts

http://www.swgc.mun.ca/artgallery/
Sir Wilfred Grenfell College Art Gallery was established in 1988 in conjunction with the School of Fine Arts. The Gallery is committed to providing a stimulating educational forum through diverse programming in the visual arts. This is primarily intended to address the needs of the students and faculty in the Visual Arts Program. The Gallery also serves Grenfell College faculty, staff and students, local public schools, and the community of Corner Brook and surrounding areas. The Gallery's commitment to its role as an interpretive educational gallery is met through research, interpretation and exhibition of contemporary and historical art relevant to regional, national and international interests. We also maintain an active program of collection and conservation of art. The gallery has presented a variety of exhibitions since its inception, exhibitions which have featured the works of such Newfoundland-based artists.
